    Jonathan Viney

    Jonathan has over 25 years experience of sales management and strategy gained within a variety of industries including Retail, FMCG and Telecommunications. Jonathan has set up new business units, directed successful international sales operations and turned around under-performing teams.

    During his 15 years at Vodafone, Jonathan merged 5 disparate sales teams into a high-performing unit, which in 6 months developed a market-leading position with 74% market share. He was also responsible for setting up and running Vodafone UK’s first International sales team responsible for over £300 million of turnover.

    Since 2004 Jonathan has specialised in improving sales performance with a variety of corporate and start-up companies in the UK and Middle East. Clients value Jonathan’s combination of commercial acumen, sales management and change implementation experience to help them identify new markets and re-structure sales teams to improve performance and efficiency.

    Recently, Jonathan has supported several Venture Capital firms with their investments. He also acts as a mentor for the Set Squared Partnership, a technology incubator operated by several Universities in the South West. Jonathan also regularly delivers sales related seminars for a number of industry bodies including the Institiute of Directors.
